How to properly dispose of pumpkins & other tricky items:
Pumpkins, cornstalks, hay bales and any other organic Halloween decorations should be placed with yard waste through December 21, 2018.
- Please put your pumpkins, weighing less than 40 pounds, in either a paper landscape bag or 32-gallon container marked "YARD WASTE."
- Cornstalks need to be less than 4-feet in length.
- Hay bales need to be dry and weigh less than 40 pounds. (Bales do not need to be bagged.)
Place discarded Halloween items next to your yard waste.
