Final Update for

2024 Construction Season

Contractors are finishing up our remaining projects for the 2024 construction season and this will be the final weekly update. If you have any questions related to our projects this summer, please call the Engineering Division at 248.246.3260 or send us an email at engineering@romi.gov

Weekly e-blasts will resume next Spring when construction projects begin.

CAP2410 Water Main Improvements

All water main installation and connections are complete for both streets, only roadwork is remaining.

On Northwood, the contractor has poured all the speed humps and the new signage will be installed this week. The contractor will remove barricades/cones when the new concrete is safe to drive on and the signs are installed.

Any remaining landscape restoration or plantings will be done next Spring.

CAP2440 Green Infrastructure Improvements

Sheridan Drive - Arden Place - Grandview Road

The contractor is finishing up final cleanup, joint sealing and restoration.

The final rain garden plantings and any remaining irrigation repairs will be completed next Spring.
