The contractor will also make some park improvements by planting new trees and installing new picnic tables.

11 Mile Road - The final water main connection is scheduled for this week. Any affected residents or businesses will be notified via door hanger with the date of the water shut-off and duration. Once complete, pavement restoration will begin.
Farnum Avenue - Work is tentatively scheduled to begin the end of September/beginning of October. The new water main will be installed via directional drilling and there will be intersection closures at the following locations to allow for water main installation:
- E. Farnum Avenue & N. Dorchester Avenue intersection
- E. Farnum Avenue & N. Kenwood Avenue intersection
Residents on Dorchester Avenue will still be able to enter/exit their block via Forest Avenue to the north and residents of Kenwood Avenue will be able to enter/exit via University Avenue or 11 Mile Road to the south.
