ARPA Open House

Before the City of Royal Oak makes its final decisions on how to allocate the approximately $28 million in funding the city received through the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), we’ll be hosting and open house for all Royal Oak residents, businesses, and stakeholders to learn more about programs and initiatives that may be funded with the money.

We invite you to learn more and ask questions about the seven key priority areas where the city plans to invest the $28 million. Those areas include:  

  • Investments in infrastructure 

  • Investments in public buildings

  • Premium pay for essential workers 

  • Affordable housing 

  • Business development support funding 

  • Unrestricted category intended to support recovery from COVID-19 loss
