Summer Reading Opening Day!

How do I register for the Summer Reading Program?

Register an individual or a family
From the ropl.beanstack.org/ page, follow these easy steps to register for Summer Reading. You can register an individual or a family. Adults can register and manage logs for their children on the Beanstack link or the Beanstack Tracker app. Older kids can track their reading independently!

How do I log my reading and activities?

  1. Sign in to Beanstack at ropl.beanstack.org/ or use the Beanstack tracker app.
  2. Click the Log Reading and Activities button.
  3. Select Minutes to log Reading or Activities.
  4. Fill out the Log Reading form and click the Log button at the end of the form to submit your entry.
  5. Close or X out of the form when you are done logging.

Once you have logged some books or reading time, it will show on your Reading Log. Need help? Call (248) 246-3725 to speak to a librarian or email youthreference@ropl.org.

How do I register for library events that I want to attend?

  1. From the library’s home page, select the Events tab which will take you to the calendar of events.
  2. Navigate the calendar to select the program you want to attend and scroll down to view more.
  3. From there, a new window will pop up with the registration form.
  4. You can always call the Youth Reference Desk at (248) 246-3725 for additional help or questions.

Summer Reading Prizes & Prize Drawings

A free book will be awarded once you reach your halfway mark of the summer reading program.

Virtual tickets are awarded through completing specific activity badges or through reading. Participants will place their tickets into the drawing of their choice via Beanstack. Prize drawings will be held at the beginning of August and winners will be notified that day. Prizes were purchased from Toyology. All prizes are non-returnable.
